Dr. Niall Murtagh is the director of OM-Consulting. He has worked as a consultant and research scientist in Australia, the US, UK, Ireland and other countries, and has lived in Japan since 1986. With over 20 years experience in corporate research and development, he now provides technological and inter-cultural support to companies operating in Japan and overseas. As an inventor he holds 6 patents and has published over 50 technical and scientific papers in books, journals and conference proceedings, in addition to general articles on travel and business culture published in mainstream media. He has been an invited speaker at conferences and seminars in Japan, the UK and the US, and is currently a lecturer at Kokugakuin University, Tokyo.
